How do I Book?

In order to book a room at the Student Beehive you are required to pay £265. The £150 deposit will be refunded to you at the end of your tenancy and the £100 rent in advance will be deducted from the last payment of your rent and £15 is a Deposit Protection Fee. You can pay by online transfer. See ‘How to pay your rent’ for where to pay the booking fee.

How do I pay rent?

You can pay your rent via online banking. Please do not forget to mention your name and what are you paying on the payment reference.

Where can I do my laundry?

Radmoor Halls, Forest Court & Kingfisher Halls - In each of the communal kitchens there is a washing machine for you to do your laundry.

The Student Block – There is a launderette service on site. Tenants are able to use this service free of charge every fortnight. Flats have designated days when their washing can be done for free. If you miss this date or need something washed on a different day you can still have it done, but at a small fee.

How do I report maintenance?

What can I do if my neighbours are being too noisy after hours?

If you feel like you can approach your neighbours then you do have the authority to do so. If you do not feel comfortable doing this, please call the sub-warden.

What do I do if the fire alarm goes off?

If you hear the fire alarm go off you must leave your room straight away and go to the fire assembly point. (You will be notified of fire assembly points when you move in).

Where can I store a bike?

Radmoor Halls & The Student Block – Bikes must be stored outside in the bike rack area.

Forest Court & Kingfisher Halls - There is a bike storage shed, where keys are available from the office.

Where can I park my car?

Radmoor Halls - At Radmoor House there are 4 car parking space. You need to reserve a space in the office. If there are no spaces left at the Radmoor site, then we can sort out parking at another one of our other sites for you.

Kingfisher Halls – Kingfisher has its own car park, with many parking spaces available.

Forest Court – There is plenty of parking here, please ask at the office for a permit.

The Student Block – There is no parking at the Student Block however we can sort out parking at another one of our other sites for you.

Who is in charge of the cleaning?

Across all the sites there are communal cleaners for shared kitchens and living areas. However it is down to you to keep your room clean and tidy.

How can I keep up to date with socials?

Add us on Facebook and Twitter to keep up to date with events and things that are happening in your halls.
