Our Sustainable Promise
Our company has made a promise to move to sustainable resources. We have removed gas from each site with zero gas being supplied in Leicester and only one gas sourced building being left in Loughborough - Kingfisher, which is scheduled to be changed over. We have three solar panel units covering Forest Court, Kingfisher and Radmoor and we have recently put in our first air heat pump at Forest Court to supply energy in a sustainable manner.
We expect to replace all current boilers with heat pumps as they break down and have a policy in place to ensure going forward we only use heat pumps.
How you can live sustainably with Student Beehive
At Student Beehive we believe in working together as a community to bring about change. In each room you will find a heater booster button which ensures heating only stays on when manually pressed by the tenant and only for the requested time period - saving energy when not in use.
In each flat we provide general waste and recycling bins which our maintenance team ensure are separated properly upon disposal.
Our sites also offer bikes for rent. So you have the option to pick a sustainable form of transport for an affordable price.
Loughbrough Student Accommodation
Our Loughborough accommodation offers a range of student homes from ensuites, studios, one bed apartments and two bed flats. All of our Loughborough student accommodation options come with all bills included, free WIFI and access to a free gym. We also have a heated pool and jacuzzi garden. Leicester Student Accommodation
Our Leicester student accommodation has three beautiful sites. Regent Road and Salisbury Road are a 5 minute walk from the University of Leicester campus and Renaissance House is a 6 minute walk from the DMU campus. All properties offer beautiful rooms that come with everything under one roof. Buildings have all bills included, WIFI, laundry, (limited) parking, bike storage, common room and a free onsite gym. Living in Leicester has never been more luxurious.
